    The UEFA Champions League 2025-2026 is the 71st season of Europe’s elite club football tournament hosted by the Union of Europe Football Association. This tournament, with its final match set to play to the hum and roar of Puskás Aréna in Budapest in May 2026, will determine who is Europe’s football champions. Last year, PSG won it, beating Inter Milan in Germany.

    History of UEFA Champions League

    The UEFA Champions League began in 1955, called the European Cup. During this first historic season, sixteen teams participated. Real Madrid ruled the tournament, winning five consecutive seasons before arch-rivals Barcelona kicked them from the throne in the 1960-61 season.
